Summary: WATMAR was contracted to provide technical assessment and modification services to fire water systems on an Australian Naval vessel. WATMAR technicians assisted prime contractors to finalise a work scope that included modification and replacement of copper piping, replacement of valves and maintenance of system equipment. Large gauge copper piping spools were fabricated, NATA pressure tested and installed by WATMAR. Valve flanges were modified and new valves installed.  Existing pumps and valves underwent routine maintenance activities. The whole system was tested and certified by WATMAR and deemed compliant with operational requirements.
