ROTTNEST ISLAND WATER PUMPING STATION

Due to excessive hydraulic water hammer in piping in the line from the new waste water treatment plant to the surrounding irrigation on Rottnest island, the existing pipe ruptured causing a flood from the re-use water tank. Once isolated, WATMAR mobilized to assess the damage and strategies a prompt and permanent solution.
WATMAR where then contracted to construct a stainless steel pipe with dampening bellows and to re-adjust the pneumatic system.
